February 27, 2011

I am inviting you all to join me this Monday 2/28/2011 for a special evening on the airwaves with words and music of F.Chopin.

On 89.9 FM WORT, Madison, WI between 7-8 pm as a part of “Access Hour” I will be presenting some unusual interpretations of F.Chopin’s music and its roots as recorded by: Maria Pomianowska and Friends, Janusz Prusinowski Trio, Sarakina, Leszek Mozdzer and Tomasz Stanko and also DiGalitzyaner Klezmorim.
You will also hear what this great Polish composer and pianist had to say in his letters as he traveled throughout Europe, grew as an artist and what he felt in his heart as a Polish patriot when he wrote letters to his loved ones, friends, mentors and fellow artists.

The show will be also available online at either live or up to two months at the online archives of WORT radio station.
